Purchasing Power On Social Media

Unsurprisingly, sales via social media have increased dramatically over the past few years (especially in beauty, where “self-care!” has been the battle cry of 2020). What social media and e-commerce can’t provide consumers is the emotional attachment to a product that they can experience while in a brick-and-mortar store, that’s why package design is so powerful.

Email campaigns may help encourage a connection when the customer isn’t physically with the product and perhaps AR/VR can fix this but will it every be the same as the physical interaction?
